About
WarpKit Play started as a group chat between three friends who kept sending each other screenshots of tower defense maps at midnight. At some point we realized we had opinions worth writing down, so we turned the chatter into a small independent site. Nobody pays us to say nice things, and we like it that way.
Everything you read here comes from actual play sessions on real phones, not press decks or trailers. We install a game, learn its systems, hit its walls, and only then decide if it earns a spot in our catalog. If a game bores us by day two, we say so.
We pick titles by genre balance and by what our readers ask about. Some weeks that means a slow, thinky strategy game; other weeks it's a chaotic arcade racer we can't put down. Variety keeps the reviews honest.
The goal is simple: help you spend your evenings on games that are worth it, and skip the ones that waste your battery.
Lukas Brandt — Lukas has been dismantling tower defense maps since the days of feature phones and now leads editorial at WarpKit Play. He still argues that pathing is the most underrated mechanic in mobile gaming.
