Emberfall Saga

Emberfall Saga leans hard into its story, and it mostly pays off. You lead a ragtag party across a kingdom slowly going dark, and the branching choices genuinely matter. We replayed the second chapter twice just to see how a single decision rippled outward.

Combat is turn-based with a stamina twist: overextend and your best fighter sits out a round. It sounds fiddly but becomes intuitive fast. Party building is where the game shines, since every companion has quirks that reward experimentation.

The writing is warm and occasionally funny, which kept us reading dialogue we'd normally skip. It's a longer commitment than most mobile RPGs, so save it for when you want something to sink into.
